Tuesday 18th November - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – First frost, sunny and cold.

Walk 1 – frosty sunrise at Felixstowe prom.

After catching yesterdays sunrise I was going to have today off but Mag said as she was heading out for her early morning walk at 6.40 that our neighbour was clearing the ice off her windscreen making this our first frost of the Autumn so I decided to get up and walk down to the seafront to take pics of icy cars to send to the TV weather. It was definitely chilly this morning and even the cars on the seafront were covered in ice making for some OK pics and I was lucky enough to get one on BBC’s Look East at lunchtime, will it make it to the evening programme? I slowly walked to the Spa theatre hoping to spot Mag but missed her but did get some frosty beach hut roofs! I then returned past the pier as the sun was reaching the top of a banK of cloud. Then back to Bent Hill managing more icy car shots with the sun on the hozrizen before returning home to warm up, luckily I had turned my electric blanket on before I left! I then had a lazy hour or two with a drink sorting out my pics!

Walk 2 around Felixstowe.

A late breakfast followed by exercises and being Tuesday, Mary day we set off down to the seafront once more, I still have my shorts on but I tired out my top new coat that Mag got me for my birthday and mega it was too! It had been sunny for most of the day but had now clouded over, we only had time to do a short section of prom before walking up through the Spa garden to the town centre as we needed a few things before our having our afternoon cuppa and biscuit with Mary, I did briefly whizz out to take a sunset pic but I was not in the right place!

PS - Aisling used one of my pics on tonight's ITV About Anglia and Alex used my lunch time pic again and another one so that's three on TV today, really cracked it:)
